Badile - Ridge

The Piz Badile is one of the most striking peaks in the Bergell Alps. However, the beautiful shape of Piz Badile in combination with the wonderful granite to climb are an absolute dream for alpine climbers. Without a doubt, the Piz Badile is one of the big tours in every mountaineer's tour book. The north face of Piz Badile is one of the six large north faces of the Alps and is perhaps the easiest of the six walls in terms of technical difficulty.

1 day
Arrival in Promontogno and climb to the Sasc Furä hut.

2 day
Climbing the Badile north edge and descending into the valley. Also possible with an additional overnight stay in the Gianetti Hut and only making the descent and return journey the following day.

Requirements
Quick climb up to grade 4c (approx. 8 to 10 hours), experience in belaying the leader and multi-pitch routes
