Piz Palü

On the first day we meet at the Diavolezzabahn. A short acclimatization tour to Munt Pers shows us the wonderful panorama of the Engadine mountains.
Before the delicious dinner in the Berghaus Diavolezza, we discuss the daily routine and check our equipment.

It starts early in the morning. Passing Sass Queder and Piz Trovat on the narrow hiking trail, we reach the Pers glacier from Diavolezza. Now roped up and equipped with crampons, we climb up towards the schnapps floor and to the shoulder. Via the narrow ridge we first reach the east, later the main summit.
The descent is along the ascent route. Shortly after noon, we already enjoy the well-deserved refreshment on the Diavolezza sun terrace.
