Via ferrata and glacier summit
On the first day we sniff the mountain air and climb the via ferrata in an interesting and varied way to the Tierberglihütte, which is beautifully situated on a rocky outcrop. The mountain guide shows you how to secure yourself on via ferrata and there is an introduction to cramponing in front of the hut. The second day starts early - we enjoy the dawning day and the steady climb up to our viewing box, the mighty Sustenhorn, at regular intervals.

PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival at the Hotel Steingletscher 1865m on the Susten Pass - hike to the start of the via ferrata. After a short instruction we lend a hand and climb the moderately steep via ferrata to the Tierberglihütte SAC 2795m (4h). From here we enjoy a unique sunset!
Day 2: Ascent of the Sustenhorn 3503m (3h), which is particularly promising thanks to its height and location - descent back to the stone glacier (4h) - then return home.
