Splügen - S. Bernardino

The region around the Splügen Pass, on the border of Graubünden, Ticino and Lombardy, is a formidable winter area. The incredible variety of worthwhile ski peaks in all exposures will quickly make the hearts of passionate ski tourers beat faster. You can also go south, i.e. through the S. Bernardino Tunnel, depending on the weather, taking advantage of the southern weather. The S. Bernardino ski lifts have recently been back in operation and are being continually renewed.
In addition to a small ski area with various freeride options, there are also many lonely corners and rugged, alpine-looking terrain. Gently undulating mountain ridges alternate with steep, steep flanks and beautiful couloirs. A perfect playground for explorers and everyone who wants to become one. A detour to the coffee shop in Montespluga is also possible.
