Piz Medel

Beautiful and highest peak of the Medelser group on the cantonal border with Ticino with an excellent view.
On the first day we walk from Curaglia over the Val Plattas or over the Piz Ault da Medel to the cozy Camonda da Medel in approx. 3-5 hours. From the Camona da Medel you can reach the impressive glacier plateau and the summit in around 3 hours If the visibility is good, the summit will be rewarded with an enormous backdrop. The entire Alpine arch can be seen from the Monte Rosa massif via Gotthard to the Engadine mountains.
The descent to Fuorns makes up for the exit with its 1800m and is hard to beat in powder snow. At Firn you can go down to Val Blenio.
