Paul was born with his passion for the mountains. Even as a small boy, his father took him on mountain tours and climbing weeks. As a teenager and on his own, Paul discovered climbing independently and has already undertaken many difficult climbing tours. It has now been 25 years that Paul has been leading his customers into the mountains all over the world as a full-time mountain guide. His mountaineering travels took him to almost every continent. Expeditions, mountaineering trips and trekking, from Alaska to the Caucasus, from Asia to Africa, from Spitsbergen to Antarctica. Climbing trips from Patagonia to El Capitan, from South Africa to the Eiger north face. One of his favorite disciplines is Arctic and Antarctic ski touring trips to places that can only be reached by boat. He also knows his way around his home terrain very well. In addition to his home in the Graubünden Oberland, the Gotthard region, Graubünden and Ticino, Paul has already led customers to all 4000-meter peaks in the Alps several times and has also climbed many worthwhile alpine climbing tours with them.
For more than 15 years, Paul has also been working as a trainer and testing expert in Swiss mountain guide training, where he passes on his knowledge and experience to the new generation of mountain guides.
