The impressive rock window in the large Tschingelhorn, above Elm, amazes its visitors.
A hole around which many a legend surrounds itself. The most common is that of the shepherd Martin. He was looking after his animals when one day a giant came along and wanted to steal his sheep. Martin bravely defended his animals and courageously threw his stick after the giant. But instead of the giant, he hit the rock wall. Then there was a mighty thunder and rumbling and stones rolled down into the valley. The giant was defeated and a hole remained in the rock, the Martin's Hole.
