Piz Ela

Piz Ela is the second highest Dolomite peak in the Alps. Sharp ridges lead to the summit from all sides and await with breathtaking views. Our starting point is the small Ela Hut, which we reach by e-bike. Piz Ela is the namesake of Switzerland's largest nature park, Parc Ela.

The normal route leads over the west ridge. This offers moderate climbing difficulties, but exposed views and plenty of ambience.

The SE ridge with the Ela window offers particularly spectacular climbing. Difficulties in the 5th degree of difficulty must be mastered here.
